Baby & toddler activity ideas for Thanksgiving

I have compiled some ideas for your littles that I hope you love!

  1. Sensory play is always important to incorporate, and my friend Kelsey @as_the_littles_grow is the expert! She created this Thanksgiving meal sensory bin using popcorn kernels and play food, perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. I love that you can extend this activity to sorting by color, size, or food type.

  2. Creating a thankful turkey is something we are doing in our house this year, even though the concept is very abstract for my daughter, who was 23 months last Thanksgiving. It's never too early to have conversations and develop that early language!

  3. And, of course, Thanksgiving isn't Thanksgiving without a handprint turkey. Am I right?! Get out those washable paints, smocks, and paintbrushes to savor their little handprints before they’re not so little anymore!

Happy signing!
