Sign Language for Toddlers 18 months - 4 years old
sign language for preschoolers
enriches their development & learning!
|
These toddlers and preschoolers have such a thirst for learning and exploring. Sign language can facilitate and support their spoken language development, or even foster multilingual learning. At this age, it is important to utilize multi-sensory learning, brain development, and the specific interests of the child during both play and times of high emotions. These resources will help you navigate how to highlight their learning and minimize meltdowns.
The Blog contains many short + sweet articles that I have written about using sign language with your child. The “Toddler” category contains topics related to when and how to start using sign language, correcting your child’s signs, common myths, activity ideas, book recommendations, sign language for learning themes such as holidays, and more.
Potty Training & Tantrums are two separate pre-recorded mini-courses on how to effectively implement sign language during potty training or your child’s tantrums. You will learn how to utilize your child’s development using ASL signs with proven strategies so you can have more communication & get back to making memories, laughing, and playing in record time.
